یہ بھی یاد رکھنا ضروری ہے کہ خدا کے کلام پر عمل کرنے کا مطلب یہ نہیں کہ انسان کبھی غلطی نہیں کرے گا۔ انسان کمزور ہو سکتا ہے، گناہ کر سکتا ہے اور غلط فیصلے کر سکتا ہے۔ لیکن ایک ایماندار کا رویہ یہ ہونا چاہیے کہ وہ اپنی غلطی کو پہچانے، خدا کی طرف رجوع کرے اور درست راستے پر چلنے کی کوشش کرے۔
“اُس میں خدا کی محبت کامل ہوتی ہے”
آیت کا اگلا حصہ کہتا ہے:
“in him verily is the love of God perfected”
یعنی جو شخص خدا کے کلام پر عمل کرتا ہے، اس میں خدا کی محبت اپنی تکمیل یا پختگی کی طرف بڑھتی ہے۔
یہاں “perfected” کا مطلب یہ نہیں کہ خدا کی محبت پہلے نامکمل تھی اور انسان اسے مکمل کرتا ہے۔ خدا کی محبت اپنی ذات میں کامل ہے۔ بلکہ مطلب یہ ہے کہ خدا کی محبت ایماندار کی زندگی میں اپنا مقصد اور عملی اظہار پاتی ہے۔
جب انسان خدا کی محبت کو سمجھتا ہے تو اس محبت کا اثر اس کے کردار پر ہونا چاہیے۔ وہ دوسروں کے ساتھ زیادہ محبت، صبر، رحم، معافی اور نرمی کا مظاہرہ کرنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے۔
محبت اور فرمانبرداری کا تعلق
اس آیت کا ایک اہم سبق یہ ہے کہ خدا سے محبت اور خدا کی فرمانبرداری ایک دوسرے سے جدا نہیں ہیں۔
محبت صرف الفاظ کا نام نہیں۔ حقیقی محبت عمل میں ظاہر ہوتی ہے۔ اگر کوئی شخص کہے کہ وہ خدا سے محبت کرتا ہے لیکن خدا کے کلام کو مسلسل نظرانداز کرے، تو اس کے الفاظ اور اعمال میں تضاد پیدا ہو جاتا ہے۔

اس کا مطلب یہ نہیں کہ ایماندار اپنی نیکیوں کے ذریعے خدا کی محبت خریدتا ہے۔ بلکہ ترتیب اس کے برعکس ہے: خدا کی محبت اور فضل انسان کو خدا کی فرمانبرداری کی طرف لے جاتے ہیں۔
“اِسی سے ہم جانتے ہیں کہ ہم اُس میں ہیں”

2. فرمانبرداری روحانی ترقی کا حصہ ہے۔
ایماندار اپنی زندگی میں آہستہ آہستہ روحانی پختگی حاصل کرتا ہے۔ خدا کا کلام اس ترقی میں بنیادی کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔
3. خدا کی محبت دوسروں کے ساتھ ہمارے رویے میں ظاہر ہونی چاہیے۔
اگر ہم خدا کی محبت کو سمجھتے ہیں تو ہمیں اپنے گھر، دوستوں اور معاشرے میں محبت، صبر اور رحم کا اظہار کرنا چاہیے۔
4. غلطی کے بعد خدا کی طرف واپس آنا ضروری ہے۔
ایماندار کامل انسان نہیں ہوتا۔ جب وہ گناہ یا غلطی میں پڑتا ہے تو اسے خدا سے معافی مانگ کر اپنی زندگی درست کرنے کی کوشش کرنی چاہیے۔
5. ایمان کے عملی ثبوت ہوتے ہیں۔
یوحنا بتاتا ہے کہ خدا کے کلام پر عمل کرنا اس بات کی علامت ہو سکتا ہے کہ ہمارا خدا کے ساتھ حقیقی تعلق ہے۔
