Jeremiah 29:30

Jeremiah 29:31

  • Verse: Send to all them of the captivity saying Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you and I sent him not and he caused you to trust in a lie

Jeremiah 29:32

Jeremiah 30:1

Jeremiah 30:2

Jeremiah 30:3

Jeremiah 30:4

Jeremiah 30:5

  • Verse: For thus saith the LORD We have heard a voice of trembling of fear and not of peace

Jeremiah 30:6

  • Verse: Ask ye now and see whether a man doth travail with child wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins as a woman in travail and all faces are turned into paleness

Jeremiah 30:7

  • Verse: Alas for that day is great so that none is like it it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble but he shall be saved out of it

Jeremiah 30:8

  • Verse: For it shall come to pass in that day saith the LORD of hosts that I will break his yoke from off thy neck and will burst thy bonds and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him

  • English Explanation: God promises that on that specific day of deliverance, He will shatter the metaphorical yoke of foreign oppression and tear away the chains of captivity. Gentile nations and foreign enemies will never again exploit or enslave the people of Israel.

    خدا وعدہ کرتا ہے کہ نجات کے اس مخصوص دن، وہ غیر ملکی ظلم کے جوئے کو توڑ دے گا اور اسیری کی زنجیروں کو کاٹ ڈالے گا۔ غیر قومیں اور غیر ملکی دشمن اب کبھی بھی اسرائیل کے لوگوں کا استحصال نہیں کریں گے اور نہ ہی انہیں اپنا غلام بنائیں گے۔

Jeremiah 30:9

  • Verse: But they shall serve the LORD their God and David their king whom I will raise up unto them

  • English Explanation: Instead of serving tyrannical foreign kings, Israel will enter a period of true spiritual devotion, serving the Lord. The reference to “David their king” points prophetically to the Messiah (the ultimate descendant of David, Jesus Christ), who will rule over them in righteousness.

Jeremiah 30:10

  • Verse: Therefore fear thou not O my servant Jacob saith the LORD neither be dismayed O Israel for lo I will save thee from afar and thy seed from the land of their captivity and Jacob shall return and shall be in rest and be quiet and none shall make him afraid

  • English Explanation: God comforts His people, commanding them not to fear or be discouraged. Even though they are scattered to distant lands, He guarantees to rescue them and their future generations. Israel will return to their homeland to enjoy absolute peace, security, and rest, free from the threat of enemies.

    خدا اپنے لوگوں کو تسلی دیتا ہے اور انہیں نہ ڈرنے یا مایوس نہ ہونے کا حکم دیتا ہے۔ اگرچہ وہ دور دراز ممالک میں بکھرے ہوئے ہیں، وہ انہیں اور ان کی آنے والی نسلوں کو بچانے کی ضمانت دیتا ہے۔ اسرائیل اپنے وطن واپس لوٹے گا اور دشمنوں کے خوف سے آزاد ہو کر کامل امن، سکون اور آرام پائے گا۔

Jeremiah 30:11

  • Verse: For I am with thee saith the LORD to save thee though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee yet will I not make a full end of thee but I will correct thee in measure and will not leave thee altogether unpunished

  • English Explanation: This verse shows the distinction between God’s judgment on pagan nations versus His discipline of Israel. God will completely destroy the empires that oppressed them, but He will preserve Israel. He will discipline Israel justly and with measure to correct them, but He will never utterly destroy them.

    یہ آیت غیر قوموں پر خدا کی عدالت اور اسرائیل پر اس کی تادیب (اصلاح) کے درمیان فرق کو ظاہر کرتی ہے۔ خدا ان سلطنتوں کو مکمل طور پر تباہ کر دے گا جنہوں نے ان پر ظلم کیا، لیکن وہ اسرائیل کو محفوظ رکھے گا۔ وہ اسرائیل کی اصلاح کے لیے ایک حد کے اندر انصاف کے ساتھ سزا دے گا، لیکن انہیں کبھی بھی پوری طرح نیست و نابود نہیں کرے گا۔

Jeremiah 30:12

  • Verse: For thus saith the LORD Thy bruise is incurable and thy wound is grievous

  • English Explanation: God diagnoses the spiritual and political state of Israel due to their sins. Humanly speaking, their condition is hopeless; their metaphorical “wound” is fatal and cannot be healed by any human alliance, military strategy, or worldly means.

    خدا اسرائیل کے گناہوں کی وجہ سے ان کی روحانی اور سیاسی حالت کا نقشہ کھینچتا ہے۔ انسانی طور پر دیکھا جائے تو ان کی حالت مایوس کن ہے؛ ان کا زخم جان لیوا ہے اور کسی انسانی اتحاد، فوجی حکمت عملی، یا دنیاوی ذرائع سے ٹھیک نہیں ہو سکتا۔

Jeremiah 30:13

  • Verse: There is none to plead thy cause that thou mayest be bound up thou hast no healing medicines

  • English Explanation: Continuing the medical metaphor, God states that Israel has no advocate or lawyer to defend them, and no effective medicine to treat their deep societal and spiritual corruption. They are entirely helpless left to their own devices.

Jeremiah 30:14

  • Verse: All thy lovers have forgotten thee they seek thee not for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy with the chastisement of a cruel one for the multitude of thine iniquity because thy sins were increased

  • English Explanation: Israel’s “lovers”—the pagan nations and political allies (like Egypt and Assyria) they trusted instead of God—have completely abandoned them. God reveals that He is the one behind their suffering; their defeat was His divine chastisement brought upon them because of their rampant sins and continuous rebellion.

Jeremiah 30:15

  • Verse: Why criest thou for thine affliction thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity because thy sins were increased I have done these things unto thee

  • English Explanation: God questions why they complain about their suffering as if it were unprovoked. He reiterates that their incurable sorrow is a direct result of their massive offenses. God takes ownership of the judgment, emphasizing that open wickedness always brings serious divine consequences.

    خدا ان سے سوال کرتا ہے کہ وہ اپنے دکھوں پر اس طرح کیوں روتے ہیں جیسے یہ بلاوجہ ہو۔ وہ دہراتا ہے کہ ان کا لاعلاج غم ان کی کثرتِ بدکاری کا براہِ راست نتیجہ ہے۔ خدا اس عدالت کی ذمہ داری خود لیتا ہے، اس بات پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہ کھلی بدکاری ہمیشہ سنگین خدائی نتائج لے کر آتی ہے۔

Jeremiah 30:16

  • Verse: Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured and all thine adversaries every one of them shall go into captivity and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey

  • English Explanation: Despite Israel’s guilt, God’s justice extends to their enemies. In a dramatic turning point, God declares a poetic reversal of fortune: the tyrannical empires that conquered, plundered, and preyed upon Israel will themselves be conquered, plundered, and taken into captivity.

Jeremiah 30:17

  • Verse: For I will restore health unto thee and I will heal thee of thy wounds saith the LORD because they called thee an Outcast saying This is Zion whom no man seeketh after

  • Explanation: Where human remedies failed, divine power steps in. God promises to perform a miracle of total restoration, healing the “incurable” wounds of His people. He does this because the enemy mocked Israel, calling Zion a rejected outcast that nobody cares about. God defends His own reputation by rescuing them.

    جہاں انسانی علاج ناکام ہو گیا، وہاں خدائی قدرت کام کرتی ہے۔ خدا اپنے لوگوں کے “لاعلاج” زخموں کو شفا دے کر مکمل بحالی کا معجزہ کرنے کا وعدہ کرتا ہے۔ وہ ایسا اس لیے کرتا ہے کیونکہ دشمن نے اسرائیل کا مذاق اڑایا اور صیون کو ایک مسترد شدہ آوارہ کہا جس کی کسی کو پرواہ نہیں۔ خدا ان کو بچا کر اپنے نام کی غیرت کا دفاع کرتا ہے۔

Jeremiah 30:18

  • Verse: Thus saith the LORD Behold I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents and have mercy on his dwellingplaces and the city shall be builded upon her own heap and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof

  • English Explanation: God promises a tangible, physical restoration of the land. He will show mercy on the homes and families of Jacob. Cities that were completely destroyed and turned into heaps of ruins (like Jerusalem) will be rebuilt on their original foundations, and royal palaces will be restored to their proper glory.

    خدا سرزمین کی حقیقی اور جسمانی بحالی کا وعدہ کرتا ہے۔ وہ یعقوب کے گھروں اور خاندانوں پر رحم کرے گا۔ جو شہر مکمل طور پر تباہ ہو کر کھنڈرات کے ڈھیر بن چکے تھے (جیسے یروشلم) وہ اپنی اصل بنیادوں پر دوبارہ تعمیر کیے جائیں گے، اور شاہی محلات اپنی مناسب شان و شوکت کے ساتھ بحال ہوں گے۔

Jeremiah 30:19

  • Verse: And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry and I will multiply them and they shall not be few I will also glorify them and they shall not be small

  • English Explanation: The landscape of mourning will be replaced with joyous sounds of celebration, gratitude, and laughter. God promises to bless His people with massive demographic growth so they will no longer be a weak remnant, and He will elevate their honor among nations.

    ماتم کا منظر جشن، شکرگزاری اور ہنسی کی خوشگوار آوازوں سے بدل جائے گا۔ خدا اپنے لوگوں کو کثیر آبادی کی برکت دینے کا وعدہ کرتا ہے تاکہ وہ اب ایک کمزور بقیہ نہ رہیں، اور وہ قوموں کے درمیان ان کی عزت و وقار کو بلند کرے گا۔

Jeremiah 30:20

  • Verse: Their children also shall be as aforetime and their congregation shall be established before me and I will punish all that oppress them

  • English Explanation: Israel’s community and religious assemblies will be firmly re-established just as they enjoyed during their finest golden years under King David and Solomon. God also issues a final, protective warning: anyone who attempts to oppress or harm His restored people will face certain punishment.

    اسرائیل کی برادری اور مذہبی جماعتیں اسی طرح مضبوطی سے دوبارہ قائم ہوں گی جیسے وہ داؤد اور سلیمان بادشاہ کے سنہری دور میں ہوا کرتی تھیں۔ خدا ایک آخری حفاظتی انتباہ بھی جاری کرتا ہے: جو کوئی بھی اس کے بحال شدہ لوگوں پر ظلم کرنے یا انہیں نقصان پہنچانے کی کوشش کرے گا، اسے یقینی سزا کا سامنا کرنا پڑے گا۔

Jeremiah 30:21

  • Verse: And their nobles shall be of themselves and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them and I will cause him to draw near and he shall approach unto me for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me saith the LORD

  • English Explanation: This verse promises political independence; Israel will no longer be ruled by foreign pagan governors, but by leaders raised from among their own flesh and blood. More importantly, this Ruler will have unique, direct priestly access to God’s holy presence—a prophetic foreshadowing of Jesus Christ, the ultimate King-Priest who devoted His heart to approach God on behalf of humanity.
