1. “When Moses was grown”
The verse begins by moving forward in Moses’ life. Earlier in Exodus, Moses had been rescued from the Nile and raised in Pharaoh’s household. By the time described here, he had become a grown man.
This detail is significant because Moses was now able to make conscious decisions about his identity and his relationship with the Hebrew people. Although he had been raised in the environment of Pharaoh’s household, he recognized the Hebrews as his own people.
The verse therefore introduces an important part of Moses’ personal development: he was becoming increasingly aware of the suffering of the people from whom he came.
2. “He went out unto his brethren”

“When Moses was grown” — جب موسیٰ بالغ ہوئے
آیت کا آغاز موسیٰ کے بالغ ہونے کے ذکر سے ہوتا ہے۔ اس وقت تک موسیٰ بچپن کے مرحلے سے گزر کر ایک بالغ انسان بن چکے تھے۔
موسیٰ کی پرورش فرعون کے گھرانے کے ماحول میں ہوئی تھی، لیکن وہ اپنی عبرانی شناخت اور اپنے لوگوں کی حالت سے بے خبر نہیں تھے۔ اب وہ خود اپنے لوگوں کے درمیان جا کر ان کے حالات دیکھ رہے تھے۔
