“اور موسیٰ نے کہا، میں اب ذرا مڑ کر اس بڑے نظارے کو دیکھوں گا کہ جھاڑی کیوں نہیں جلتی۔”
یہ آیت موسیٰ کی زندگی کے ایک نہایت اہم مرحلے کو بیان کرتی ہے۔ موسیٰ اُس وقت اپنے سسر یترو کے ریوڑ کی نگہبانی کر رہے تھے۔ وہ بیابان میں تھے اور اپنی روزمرہ ذمہ داری پوری کر رہے تھے۔ اچانک انہوں نے ایک عجیب منظر دیکھا۔ ایک جھاڑی آگ سے جل رہی تھی، لیکن وہ جل کر ختم نہیں ہو رہی تھی۔
