Verse-by-Verse Commentary (Luke 11:35 – Luke 12:18)

Luke 11:35

  • Verse: Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness

  • English Explanation: Jesus warns his listeners to guard their inner self. If the moral or spiritual guidance you rely on is distorted by pride or false religion, your entire guidance system becomes dark, leading you away from God while you believe you are close to Him.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام اپنے سننے والوں کو خبردار کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنے اندرونی وجود کی حفاظت کریں۔ اگر آپ کی اخلاقی یا روحانی رہنمائی غرور یا جھوٹی مذہبیت کی وجہ سے بگڑ چکی ہے، تو آپ کا پورا نظامِ ہدایت اندھیرا بن جاتا ہے، جو آپ کو خدا سے دور لے جاتا ہے جبکہ آپ یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ آپ اس کے قریب ہیں۔

Luke 11:36

  • Verse: If thy whole body therefore be full of light having no part dark the whole shall be full of light as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light

  • English Explanation: When a person’s heart is completely transparent and submitted to God’s truth without compromise, their entire life shines brilliantly. They become a source of clarity and light for everyone around them, like a brightly lit candle.

  • Urdu Explanation: جب کسی انسان کا دل مکمل طور پر شفاف ہوتا ہے اور وہ بغیر کسی سمجھوتے کے خدا کی سچائی کے سامنے سرِ تسلیم خم کر دیتا ہے، تو اس کی پوری زندگی چمک اٹھتی ہے۔ وہ اپنے آس پاس کے تمام لوگوں کے لیے وضاحت اور روشنی کا ذریعہ بن جاتے ہیں، جیسے ایک روشن شمع۔

Luke 11:37

  • Verse: And as he spake a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him and he went in and sat down to meat

  • English Explanation: A Pharisee invites Jesus to a meal. Jesus accepts the invitation and sits down to eat, showing that He did not avoid those who opposed Him, but rather used every opportunity to teach truth directly.

  • Urdu Explanation: ایک فریسی عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کو کھانے کی دعوت دیتا ہے۔ عیسیٰ دعوت قبول کرتے ہیں اور کھانے کے لیے بیٹھ جاتے ہیں، جس سے ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ انہوں نے اپنے مخالفین سے دوری اختیار نہیں کی، بلکہ سچائی کی تعلیم دینے کے لیے ہر موقع کا استعمال کیا۔

Luke 11:38

  • Verse: And when the Pharisee saw it he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner

  • English Explanation: The host was shocked because Jesus did not perform the ceremonial, ritualistic handwashing required by Jewish oral traditions before eating. This was a cultural and religious expectation of purity rather than a physical hygiene issue.

  • Urdu Explanation: میزبان حیران رہ گیا کیونکہ عیسیٰ علیہ السلام نے کھانے سے پہلے یہودی روایات کے مطابق مخصوص مذہبی طریقے سے ہاتھ نہیں دھوئے تھے۔ یہ جسمانی صفائی کا معاملہ نہیں تھا بلکہ ظاہری پاکیزگی کی ایک ثقافتی اور مذہبی روایت تھی۔

Luke 11:39

  • Verse: And the Lord said unto him Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness

  • English Explanation: Jesus uses the metaphor of kitchenware to expose hypocrisy. He states that the religious leaders obsess over looking clean on the outside to please society, while their inner hearts are filled with greed, extortion, and malice.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام منافقت کو بے نقاب کرنے کے لیے برتنوں کی مثال استعمال کرتے ہیں۔ وہ فرماتے ہیں کہ مذہبی رہنما معاشرے کو خوش کرنے کے لیے باہر سے پاک صاف دکھنے کے جنون میں مبتلا ہیں، جبکہ ان کے اندرونی دل لالچ، لوٹ مار اور برائی سے بھرے ہوئے ہیں۔

Luke 11:40

  • Verse: Ye fools did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also

  • English Explanation: Jesus calls out their lack of wisdom. God created both the physical external world and the internal soul. Therefore, it is foolish to think God only cares about outward rituals while ignoring internal holiness.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام ان کی نادانی کو ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔ خدا نے ظاہری جسم اور اندرونی روح دونوں کو پیدا کیا ہے۔ اس لیے یہ سوچنا حماقت ہے کہ خدا اندرونی پاکیزگی کو نظر انداز کر کے صرف ظاہری رسومات کی پرواہ کرتا ہے۔

Luke 11:41

  • Verse: But rather give alms of such things as ye have and behold all things are clean unto you

  • English Explanation: True purity comes from a generous, loving heart. Jesus suggests that when a person practices true charity from the inside out, their external actions and possessions automatically become clean and acceptable to God.

  • Urdu Explanation: سچی پاکیزگی سخی اور محبت کرنے والے دل سے آتی ہے۔ عیسیٰ علیہ السلام فرماتے ہیں کہ جب کوئی انسان دل سے حقیقی خیرات کرتا ہے، تو اس کے ظاہری اعمال اور مال و اسباب خود بخود خدا کے نزدیک پاک اور قبول ہو جاتے ہیں۔

Luke 11:42

  • Verse: But woe unto you Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs and pass over judgment and the love of God these ought ye to have done and not to leave the other undone

  • English Explanation: Jesus condemns the legalism of the Pharisees. They were meticulously calculating tithes on tiny garden herbs but completely neglected justice and the love of God. Jesus emphasizes that they should practice both obedience in small details and loyalty to weightier spiritual commands.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام فریسیوں کی سخت قانون پسندی کی مذمت کرتے ہیں۔ وہ چھوٹے چھوٹے پودوں کا دسواں حصہ (عشر) دینے کا تو پورا حساب رکھتے تھے لیکن انصاف اور خدا کی محبت کو یکسر نظر انداز کر دیتے تھے۔ عیسیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ انہیں چھوٹی باتوں میں فرمانبرداری کے ساتھ ساتھ بڑے روحانی احکامات پر بھی عمل کرنا چاہیے تھا۔

Luke 11:43

  • Verse: Woe unto you Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues and greetings in the markets

  • English Explanation: Jesus exposes their pride. The Pharisees loved social prestige, desiring the most honorable seats in places of worship and seeking public recognition and praise in the marketplaces.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام ان کے غرور کو بے نقاب کرتے ہیں۔ فریسی سماجی عزت و مرتبہ کے بھوکے تھے، عبادت گاہوں میں سب سے معزز نشستوں کی خواہش رکھتے تھے اور بازاروں میں عوامی پہچان اور تعریف کے طلبگار رہتے تھے۔

Luke 11:44

  • Verse: Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not and the men that walk over them are not aware of them

  • English Explanation: Jesus compares these leaders to hidden, unmarked graves. People walk over them without knowing they are stepping on spiritual decay, meaning the Pharisees secretly defile everyone they influence with their corrupt teachings.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام ان رہنماؤں کو پوشیدہ اور بغیر نشان والی قبروں سے تشبیہ دیتے ہیں۔ لوگ ان کے اوپر سے گزر جاتے ہیں اور انہیں معلوم بھی نہیں ہوتا کہ وہ روحانی گندگی پر قدم رکھ رہے ہیں، یعنی فریسی اپنی فاسد تعلیمات سے ہر اس شخص کو نادانستہ طور پر ناپاک کر دیتے ہیں جو ان کے زیرِ اثر آتا ہے۔

Luke 11:45

  • Verse: Then answered one of the lawyers and said unto him Master thus saying thou reproachest us also

  • Explanation: An expert in religious law objects, realizing that Jesus’ scathing critique of the Pharisees also insults the reputation and authority of the religious legal scholars.

  • Urdu Explanation: شریعت کے ایک ماہر نے اعتراض کیا، کیونکہ اسے احساس ہوا کہ عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کی طرف سے فریسیوں پر سخت تنقید سے مذہبی قانون دانوں کی ساکھ اور اختیار پر بھی ضرب پڑتی ہے۔

Luke 11:46

  • Verse: And he said Woe unto you also ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers

  • English Explanation: Instead of backing down, Jesus directly rebukes the legal experts. They created crushing, complex legalistic religious requirements for ordinary people but engineered loopholes so they themselves wouldn’t have to carry those burdens.

  • Urdu Explanation: پیچھے ہٹنے کے بجائے، عیسیٰ علیہ السلام براہِ راست ان قانون دانوں کو ملامت کرتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے عام لوگوں کے لیے انتہائی بوجھل اور پیچیدہ مذہبی قوانین بنا رکھے تھے لیکن خود ان بوجھ کو اٹھانے سے بچنے کے لیے حیلے بہانے تلاش کر لیتے تھے۔

Luke 11:47

  • Verse: Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets and your fathers killed them

  • English Explanation: Jesus points out a hypocritical historical cycle. The current generation builds elaborate monuments for dead prophets to appear righteous, yet they share the exact same murderous spirit as their ancestors who killed those very prophets.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام ایک منافقانہ تاریخی سلسلے کی طرف اشارہ کرتے ہیں۔ موجودہ نسل مردہ انبیاء کے لیے شاندار مقبرے بناتی ہے تاکہ وہ نیک نظر آئیں، حالانکہ ان کے اندر بالکل وہی قاتلانہ ذہنیت موجود ہے جو ان کے آباؤ اجداد میں تھی جنہوں نے ان انبیاء کو قتل کیا تھا۔

Luke 11:48

  • Verse: Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers for they indeed killed them and ye build their sepulchres

  • English Explanation: By rejecting God’s current living messengers while building tombs for past ones, they prove that they validate and continue the rebellious legacy of their forefathers.

  • Urdu Explanation: ماضی کے انبیاء کے مقبرے بنا کر اور موجودہ زندہ رسولوں کو مسترد کر کے، وہ ثابت کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنے آباؤ اجداد کے باغیانہ ورثے کی توثیق کر رہے ہیں اور اسی راہ پر چل رہے ہیں۔

Luke 11:49

  • Verse: Therefore also said the wisdom of God I will send them prophets and apostles and some of them they shall slay and persecute

  • English Explanation: Speaking with divine wisdom, Jesus prophesies that God will continue to send messengers, prophets, and apostles to this people, knowing full well that they will respond with violence, rejection, and persecution.

  • Urdu Explanation: خدائی حکمت کے ساتھ بات کرتے ہوئے، عیسیٰ علیہ السلام پیشگوئی کرتے ہیں کہ خدا اس قوم کی طرف اپنے رسول اور انبیاء بھیجتا رہے گا، یہ اچھی طرح جانتے ہوئے بھی کہ وہ ان کا جواب تشدد، انکار اور ظلم سے دیں گے۔

Luke 11:50

  • Verse: That the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation

  • English Explanation: Because this generation ultimate rejects the Messiah and His messengers, they bring upon themselves the culminating judgment for all the righteous blood shed throughout spiritual history.

  • Urdu Explanation: چونکہ یہ نسل حتمی طور پر مسیح اور ان کے رسولوں کو مسترد کر رہی ہے، اس لیے وہ پوری روحانی تاریخ میں بہائے گئے تمام معصوموں کے خون کا عذاب اور حتمی عدالت اپنے اوپر لا رہی ہے۔

Luke 11:51

  • Verse: From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple verily I say unto you It shall be required of this generation

  • English Explanation: Jesus spans the entire timeline of the Hebrew Scriptures—from the first martyr, Abel, to Zechariah. He affirms that the severe consequence of centuries of spiritual rebellion will fall upon this specific, unrepentant generation.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام عبرانی صحیفوں کی پوری تاریخ کا احاطہ کرتے ہیں—پہلے شہید ہابیل سے لے کر زکریا تک۔ وہ تصدیق کرتے ہیں کہ صدیوں کی روحانی سرکشی کا ہولناک نتیجہ اسی مخصوص اور توبہ نہ کرنے والی نسل پر نازل ہوگا۔

Luke 11:52

  • Verse: Woe unto you lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge ye entered not in yourselves and them that were entering in ye hindered

  • English Explanation: The legal scholars were meant to guide people to God through the Scriptures (the key of knowledge). Instead, their false interpretations closed the door to spiritual truth, keeping themselves out of God’s kingdom and actively blocking sincere seekers from entering.

  • Urdu Explanation: قانون دانوں کا کام یہ تھا کہ وہ صحیفوں (علم کی چابی) کے ذریعے لوگوں کی خدا کی طرف رہنمائی کریں۔ اس کے برعکس، ان کی غلط تشریحات نے روحانی سچائی کا دروازہ بند کر دیا، جس سے نہ صرف وہ خود خدا کی بادشاہی سے محروم رہے بلکہ انہوں نے سچے متلاشیوں کو بھی داخل ہونے سے روکا۔

Luke 11:53

  • Verse: And as he said these things unto them the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently and to provoke him to speak of many things

  • English Explanation: Exposed by Jesus’ heavy rebukes, the religious leaders reacted with intense anger. They began to aggressively cross-examine Him, trying to provoke Him into making a controversial statement.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کی سخت ملامت سے بے نقاب ہونے کے بعد، مذہبی رہنما شدید غصے میں آ گئے۔ انہوں نے جارحانہ انداز میں ان سے جرح شروع کر دی، تاکہ انہیں کوئی متنازعہ بات کہنے پر اکسایا جا سکے۔

Luke 11:54

  • Verse: Laying wait for him and seeking to catch something out of his mouth that they might accuse him

  • English Explanation: They acted like hunters setting a trap, listening closely to His every word with malicious intent, desperate to find a single phrase they could use to legally accuse or arrest Him.

  • Urdu Explanation: انہوں نے شکاریوں کی طرح جال بچھایا، اور بدنیتی کے ساتھ ان کے ہر لفظ کو غور سے سنا، تاکہ کوئی ایسا جملہ مل سکے جسے وہ قانونی طور پر ان کے خلاف الزام تراشی یا گرفتاری کے لیے استعمال کر سکیں۔

Luke 12:1

  • Verse: In the mean time when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people insomuch that they trode one upon another he began to say unto his disciples first of all Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees which is hypocrisy

  • English Explanation: As a massive, chaotic crowd gathers, Jesus speaks to His disciples first. He warns them against the “leaven” (influence) of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Just like yeast spreads silently through dough, hypocrisy can quietly corrupt a believer’s entire life and ministry.

  • Urdu Explanation: جب ایک بہت بڑا اور بے قابو ہجوم اکٹھا ہو گیا، تو عیسیٰ علیہ السلام نے سب سے پہلے اپنے شاگردوں سے بات کی۔ انہوں نے انہیں فریسیوں کے “خمیر” (اثر و رسوخ) سے بچنے کی تاکید کی، جو کہ منافقت ہے۔ جس طرح خمیر پوشیدہ طور پر پورے آٹے میں پھیل جاتا ہے، اسی طرح منافقت ایمان دار کی پوری زندگی اور خدمت کو خاموشی سے خراب کر سکتی ہے۔

Luke 12:2

  • Verse: For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed neither hid that shall not be known

  • English Explanation: Hypocrisy is ultimately pointless. Jesus guarantees that every secret, every hidden motive, and every masked sin will eventually be uncovered and exposed by God in the final judgment.

  • Urdu Explanation: منافقت کا انجام کار کوئی فائدہ نہیں ہوتا۔ عیسیٰ علیہ السلام یقین دلاتے ہیں کہ ہر راز، ہر چھپا ہوا مقصد، اور ہر پوشیدہ گناہ آخر کار آخری عدالت میں خدا کی طرف سے ظاہر اور بے نقاب کر دیا جائے گا۔

Luke 12:3

  • Verse: Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops

  • English Explanation: Private conversations and hidden deeds cannot remain secret forever. What was muttered in the shadows or whispered behind closed doors will eventually be made fully public, visible to all.

  • Urdu Explanation: نجی گفتگو اور پوشیدہ اعمال ہمیشہ کے لیے خفیہ نہیں رہ سکتے۔ جو کچھ اندھیروں میں بولا گیا یا بند دروازوں کے پیچھے سرگوشی کی گئی، وہ آخر کار سب کے سامنے پوری طرح ظاہر کر دیا جائے گا۔

Luke 12:4

  • Verse: And I say unto you my friends Be not afraid of them that kill the body and after that have no more that they can do

  • English Explanation: Addressing His followers affectionately as “friends,” Jesus tells them not to fear human persecutors. The worst a human enemy can do is end your earthly life; they have absolutely no power over your eternal soul.

  • Urdu Explanation: اپنے پیروکاروں کو محبت سے “دوستوں” کہہ کر مخاطب کرتے ہوئے، عیسیٰ علیہ السلام فرماتے ہیں کہ انسانی ظلم و ستم سے نہ ڈریں۔ ایک انسانی دشمن زیادہ سے زیادہ آپ کی زمینی زندگی ختم کر سکتا ہے؛ ان کے پاس آپ کی ابدی روح پر کوئی اختیار نہیں ہے۔

Luke 12:5

  • Verse: But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear Fear him which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell yea I say unto you Fear him

  • English Explanation: Jesus commands true healthy fear to be directed toward God alone. God holds ultimate sovereign authority over both physical death and eternal damnation in hell.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام حکم دیتے ہیں کہ حقیقی اور جائز خوف صرف خدا کا ہونا چاہیے۔ خدا کے پاس جسمانی موت اور جہنم کے ابدی عذاب دونوں پر کامل اور حتمی اختیار ہے۔

Luke 12:6

  • Verse: Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings and not one of them is forgotten before God

  • English Explanation: To comfort His disciples, Jesus points out that sparrows are cheap, almost worthless in the human market. Yet, God intimately tracks and cares for every single one of them. None are ignored by the Creator.

  • Urdu Explanation: اپنے شاگردوں کو تسلی دینے کے لیے، عیسیٰ علیہ السلام اشارہ کرتے ہیں کہ چڑیاں بہت سستی ہوتی ہیں، انسانی مارکیٹ میں ان کی کوئی خاص قیمت نہیں ہوتی۔ پھر بھی، خدا ان میں سے ہر ایک کی دیکھ بھال کرتا ہے۔ خالق کسی کو بھی نظر انداز نہیں کرتا۔

Luke 12:7

  • Verse: But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered Fear not therefore ye are of more value than many sparrows

  • English Explanation: God’s detail-oriented care for His children is so intense that He knows the exact number of hairs on their heads. Believers should live without fear because they possess immense value in God’s eyes compared to the rest of creation.

  • Urdu Explanation: اپنے بچوں کے لیے خدا کی تفصیلی دیکھ بھال اتنی گہری ہے کہ وہ ان کے سر کے بالوں کی صحیح تعداد بھی جانتا ہے۔ ایمان داروں کو خوف کے بغیر جینا چاہیے کیونکہ وہ باقی مخلوقات کے مقابلے میں خدا کی نظر میں بہت زیادہ قدر و قیمت رکھتے ہیں۔

Luke 12:8

  • Verse: Also I say unto you Whosoever shall confess me before men him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God

  • English Explanation: Jesus promises a divine reward for courage. Anyone who publicly aligns with Him and boldly acknowledges Him during earthly trials will be proudly acknowledged by Christ before God’s heavenly court.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام بہادری کے خدائی اجر کا وعدہ کرتے ہیں۔ جو کوئی بھی زمینی آزمائشوں کے دوران عوامی سطح پر ان کا ساتھ دے گا اور دلیری سے ان کا اقرار کرے گا، ابنِ آدم (مسیح) بھی خدا کی آسمانی عدالت کے سامنے اس کا اقرار کریں گے۔

Luke 12:9

  • Verse: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God

  • English Explanation: Conversely, if someone disowns or denies Jesus publicly out of cowardice or a desire for worldly acceptance, they will face the terrifying consequence of being disowned by Christ in eternity.

  • Urdu Explanation: اس کے برعکس، اگر کوئی بزدلی یا دنیاوی قبولیت کی خاطر عوامی سطح پر عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کا انکار کرتا ہے، تو اسے ابدیت میں مسیح کی طرف سے مسترد کیے جانے کے ہولناک انجام کا سامنا کرنا پڑے گا۔

Luke 12:10

  • Verse: And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man it shall be forgiven him but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven

  • English Explanation: Misunderstanding Jesus during His earthly, humbled state can be forgiven upon repentance. However, stubbornly, continuously, and maliciously rejecting the clear witness of the Holy Spirit—attributing God’s saving power to evil—hardens a heart beyond the point of seeking forgiveness.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کی زمینی اور عاجزانہ حالت کے دوران ان کو سمجھنے میں غلطی توبہ کرنے پر معاف کی جا سکتی ہے۔ تاہم، روح القدس کی واضح گواہی کو ضد، مسلسل اور بدنیتی کے ساتھ مسترد کرنا—اور خدا کی نجات بخش طاقت کو برائی سے منسوب کرنا—دل کو اتنا سخت کر دیتا ہے کہ انسان توبہ اور معافی کے قابل ہی نہیں رہتا۔

Luke 12:11

  • Verse: And when they bring you unto the synagogues and unto magistrates and powers take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer or what ye shall say

  • English Explanation: Jesus prepares His disciples for legal persecution. He tells them not to anxiously rehearse defense speeches when dragged before religious courts or political authorities.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام اپنے شاگردوں کو قانونی ظلم و ستم کے لیے تیار کرتے ہیں۔ وہ ان سے فرماتے ہیں کہ جب انہیں مذہبی عدالتوں یا سیاسی حکام کے سامنے گھسیٹا جائے تو وہ بے چینی سے اپنے دفاع کے لیے تقاریر تیار کرنے کی فکر نہ کریں۔

Luke 12:12

  • Verse: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say

  • English Explanation: In moments of crisis, believers are not left alone. The Holy Spirit will grant supernatural wisdom, giving them the exact words needed to testify truthfully right when they need it.

  • Urdu Explanation: بحران کے لمحات میں، ایمان داروں کو اکیلا نہیں چھوڑا جاتا۔ روح القدس انہیں غیبی حکمت عطا کرے گا، اور عین ضرورت کے وقت انہیں وہ الفاظ فراہم کرے گا جو سچائی کی گواہی کے لیے درکار ہوں گے۔

Luke 12:13

  • Verse: And one of the company said unto him Master speak to my brother that he divide the inheritance with me

  • English Explanation: A man from the crowd interrupts Jesus with a purely materialistic concern, asking Him to act as a legal arbitrator over a family financial dispute regarding an inheritance.

Luke 12:14

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام سول یا مالیاتی ثالثی میں الجھنے سے سختی سے انکار کرتے ہیں۔ ان کا مشن روحانی اصلاح ہے، نہ کہ زمینی دولت کی تقسیم کا انتظام کرنا یا جائیداد کے قانونی جھگڑے طے کرنا۔

Luke 12:15

  • Verse: And he said unto them Take heed and beware of covetousness for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth

  • English Explanation: Jesus uses the man’s interruption to teach a vital spiritual truth. He warns everyone to actively guard against greed, stating plainly that human value, purpose, and true life are never measured by material wealth or possessions.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام اس آدمی کی مداخلت کو ایک اہم روحانی سچائی سکھانے کے لیے استعمال کرتے ہیں۔ وہ ہر ایک کو لالچ سے بچنے کی تاکید کرتے ہیں، اور واضح طور پر فرماتے ہیں کہ انسانی زندگی کی اصل قدر، مقصد اور حقیقت کبھی بھی مادی دولت یا مال و اسباب سے نہیں ماپی جاتی۔

Luke 12:16

  • Verse: And he spake a parable unto them saying The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully

  • English Explanation: Jesus tells a story to illustrate the trap of materialism. He describes a wealthy landowner whose fields produced a massive, unexpected bumper crop, increasing his already vast fortune.

  • Urdu Explanation: عیسیٰ علیہ السلام مادیت پرستی کے جال کو واضح کرنے کے لیے ایک تمثیل سناتے ہیں۔ وہ ایک امیر زمیندار کا ذکر کرتے ہیں جس کی زمینوں نے غیر متوقع طور پر بہت بڑی فصل پیدا کی، جس سے اس کی پہلے سے موجود دولت میں مزید اضافہ ہو گیا۔

Luke 12:17

  • Verse: And he thought within himself saying What shall I do because I have no room where to bestow my fruits

  • English Explanation: The rich man experiences anxiety over his excessive wealth. Instead of thanking God or planning to help the needy with his overflow, he focuses entirely on his own problem of storage.

  • Urdu Explanation: امیر آدمی اپنی ضرورت سے زیادہ دولت پر فکر مند ہو جاتا ہے۔ خدا کا شکر ادا کرنے یا اپنی اس اضافی دولت سے ضرورت مندوں کی مدد کرنے کا سوچنے کے بجائے، وہ مکمل طور پر اپنی دولت کو ذخیرہ کرنے کے مسئلے پر توجہ مرکوز کرتا ہے۔

Luke 12:18

  • Verse: And he said This will I do I will pull down my barns and build greater and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods

  • English Explanation: The man decides on a self-centered solution. He plans to demolish his current, perfectly functional storage buildings to build massive storehouses, keeping his surplus entirely to himself for security and luxury.

  • Urdu Explanation: وہ آدمی ایک خود غرضانہ حل نکالتا ہے۔ وہ اپنے موجودہ، بالکل ٹھیک گوداموں کو مسمار کرنے اور ان کی جگہ بڑے گودام بنانے کا فیصلہ کرتا ہے، تاکہ اپنی حفاظت اور عیاشی کے لیے اپنی تمام اضافی دولت کو صرف اپنے پاس جمع رکھ سکے۔
