2 Kings 10:35

2 Kings 11:1
Verse: And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead she arose and destroyed all the seed royal. English Explanation: Athaliah, daughter of Ahab and Jezebel, attempts to seize the throne of Judah by murdering all potential heirs. This was a direct attack on the messianic line of David. Urdu Explanation: اخزیاہ کی ماں عتلیاہ نے جب دیکھا کہ اس کا بیٹا مر گیا ہے تو اس نے تخت پر قبضہ کرنے کے لیے شاہی خاندان کی تمام اولاد کو ختم کرنے کی کوشش کی۔ یہ داؤد کی نسل کو ختم کرنے کی ایک سازش تھی۔
2 Kings 11:2
Verse: But Jehosheba the daughter of king Joram sister of Ahaziah took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him from among the king’s sons which were slain and they hid him even him and his nurse in the bedchamber from Athaliah so that he was not slain. Verse: And he was with her hid in the house of the LORD six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land. English Explanation: While the rightful king was hidden in the Temple, an illegal and wicked queen ruled the land. This period tested the faith of those loyal to God. Urdu Explanation: جبکہ برحق بادشاہ ہیکل میں چھپا ہوا تھا ایک بدکار ملکہ ملک پر حکومت کر رہی تھی۔ یہ دور خدا کے وفادار لوگوں کے ایمان کی آزمائش کا وقت تھا۔
2 Kings 11:4
Verse: And the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds with the captains and the guard and brought them to him into the house of the LORD and made a covenant with them and took an oath of them in the house of the LORD and shewed them the king’s son. English Explanation: Jehoiada the priest initiates a coup. He gathers military leaders, swears them to secrecy, and reveals that the true heir to the throne is still alive. Urdu Explanation: یہویدع کاہن نے ایک انقلاب کی بنیاد رکھی۔ اس نے فوجی رہنماؤں کو جمع کیا ان سے حلف لیا اور ان پر ظاہر کیا کہ اصل وارث ابھی زندہ ہے۔
2 Kings 11:5–8

Verse: …And when she looked behold the king stood by a pillar… and Athaliah rent her clothes and cried Treason Treason. English Explanation: Athaliah hears the noise and discovers the truth. Ironicaly, she who committed treason by killing the royal family cries “Treason” when the rightful king is restored. Urdu Explanation: عتلیاہ نے شور سنا اور حقیقت جان لی۔ حیرت کی بات یہ ہے کہ جس نے خود غداری کی تھی وہ برحق بادشاہ کو دیکھ کر “غداری غداری” پکارنے لگی۔
2 Kings 11:15–16

Verse: And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal and brake it down… English Explanation: Political reform is followed by religious reform. The people destroy the temple of Baal and its idols, executing the pagan priest Mattan to purge the land of idolatry. Urdu Explanation: سیاسی اصلاحات کے بعد مذہبی اصلاحات ہوئیں۔ لوگوں نے بعل کے مندر کو مسمار کر دیا اور بت پرستی کو ختم کرنے کے لیے اس کے کاہن کو قتل کر دیا۔
2 Kings 11:19
Verse: And he took the rulers over hundreds and the captains and the guard and all the people of the land and they brought down the king from the house of the LORD… And he sat on the throne of the kings. English Explanation: The process is completed with a grand procession. Joash is escorted from the Temple to the royal palace, taking his rightful seat on the throne of David. Urdu Explanation: یہ عمل ایک عظیم جلوس کے ساتھ مکمل ہوا۔ یوآس کو ہیکل سے شاہی محل لایا گیا اور وہ داؤد کے تخت پر براجمان ہوا۔
