Revelation 5:6

Verse: And I beheld and lo in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts and in the midst of the elders stood a Lamb as it had been slain having seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth

  • English Explanation: John sees a central figure in the heavenly court: a Lamb standing as if it had been slaughtered. Revelation 5:7

Verse: And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne

  • English Explanation: The Lamb steps forward to take the scroll from God the Father. This action marks a pivotal moment in cosmic history: the transfer of authority to execute judgment and claim ownership over creation. Only Christ is qualified to take the scroll and unfold the future.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): برّہ آگے بڑھتا ہے اور تخت پر بیٹھے ہوئے خدا کے دائیں ہاتھ سے کتاب (طومار) لے لیتا ہے۔ یہ کائنات کی تاریخ کا ایک اہم ترین لمحہ ہے جہاں زمین و آسمان کے انصاف اور اختیار کی ذمہ داری مسیح کو سونپی جا رہی ہے کیونکہ صرف وہی اس کے لائق ہے۔

Revelation 5:8

Verse: And when he had taken the book the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb having every one of them harps and golden vials full of odours which are the prayers of saints

  • English Explanation: The moment the Lamb takes the scroll, the entire heavenly hierarchy falls down in worship. The harps signify continuous praise and joy. The golden vials full of odours (incense) represent the prayers of God’s people on earth, showing that the prayers of believers are precious, preserved, and directly connected to heavenly events.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): جیسے ہی برّہ کتاب لیتا ہے، چاروں جاندار اور چوبیس بزرگ اس کے آگے سجدہ کرتے ہیں۔ بربط موسیقی اور حمد و ثنا کی علامت ہیں، اور خوشبو سے بھری ہوئی سونے کے پیالے زمین پر موجود مقدسین (ایمانداروں) کی دعائیں ہیں۔ یہ ظاہر کرتا ہے کہ مومنوں کی دعائیں خدا کے نزدیک کتنی قیمتی ہیں اور محفوظ رکھی جاتی ہیں۔

Revelation 5:9

Verse: And they sung a new song saying Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof for thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation

  • English Explanation: The heavenly host sings a “new song,” which is a song of redemption. Christ’s worthiness to unlock destiny is explicitly tied to His sacrificial death. His blood was the ransom price paid to purchase people from every ethnic, linguistic, and national background, establishing the global scope of salvation.

Revelation 5:10

Verse: And hast made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth

  • English Explanation: Believers are not just saved from destruction; they are elevated to a position of high status and responsibility. Christ transforms His people into a kingdom of kings (rulers) and priests (mediators) who will ultimately exercise authority and dominion over the renewed earth.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): ایمان داروں کو نہ صرف تباہی سے بچایا گیا ہے بلکہ انہیں ایک اعلیٰ مقام دیا گیا ہے۔ مسیح نے اپنے لوگوں کو خدا کے لیے بادشاہ اور کاہن بنا دیا ہے، جو آنے والے وقت میں زمین پر حکومت اور عدل و انصاف قائم کریں گے۔

Revelation 5:11

Verse: And I beheld and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands

  • English Explanation: The circle of worship expands outward. John tries to quantify an unquantifiable crowd—countless millions of angels surrounding the inner heavenly circle. The immense scale emphasizes the grand, cosmic scope of Christ’s praise.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): اب عبادت کا دائرہ مزید وسیع ہو جاتا ہے۔ یوحنا فرشتوں کی ایک ایسی بڑی تعداد کی آواز سنتا ہے جسے گننا ممکن نہیں (کروڑوں اور لاکھوں فرشتے)۔ یہ عظیم تعداد اس بات کو ظاہر کرتی ہے کہ مسیح کی حمد و ثنا کائنات کے ہر کونے میں گونج رہی ہے۔

Revelation 5:12

Verse: Saying with a loud voice Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing

  • English Explanation: The angelic host proclaims a sevenfold blessing upon the Lamb: power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing. Seven denotes perfection, meaning Jesus is worthy of the absolute fullness of all praise and tribute.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): فرشتے بلند آواز سے برّے کے لیے سات گنا برکات کا اعلان کرتے ہیں: قدرت، دولت، حکمت، طاقت، عزت، جلال اور تمجید۔ سات کا ہندسہ کاملیت کو ظاہر کرتا ہے، یعنی یسوع ہر قسم کی تعریف اور حاکمیت کے مکمل طور پر لائق ہے۔

Revelation 5:13

Verse: And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea and all that are in them heard I saying Blessing and honour and glory and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne and unto the Lamb for ever and ever

Revelation 5:14

Verse: And the four beasts said Amen And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever

Revelation 6:1

Verse: And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals and I heard as it were the noise of thunder one of the four beasts saying Come and see

  • English Explanation: Chapter 6 shifts from heavenly worship to earthly execution as the Lamb breaks the first seal. A sound like thunder—signaling divine judgment—is heard, and the first living creature commands the events of history to advance with the words “Come and see.”

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): باب 6 کا آغاز آسمانی عبادت سے ہٹ کر زمین پر فیصلوں کے نفاذ سے ہوتا ہے جب برّہ پہلا مہر کھولتا ہے۔ گرج جیسی آواز سنائی دیتی ہے جو الٰہی انصاف کی علامت ہے، اور پہلا جاندار تاریخ کے واقعات کو آگے بڑھنے کا حکم دیتا ہے۔

Revelation 6:2

Verse: And I saw and behold a white horse and he that sat on him had a bow and a crown was given unto him and he went forth conquering and to conquer

  • English Explanation: The first horseman of the Apocalypse appears on a white horse. He holds a bow (symbolizing long-range military or political threat) and wears a crown of victory. This represents a deceptive peace, a rise of totalitarian global conquest, or the spirit of the Antichrist.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): قیامت کا پہلا سوار ایک سفید گھوڑے پر ظاہر ہوتا ہے۔ اس کے ہاتھ میں کمان ہے (جو سیاسی یا فوجی خطرے کی علامت ہے) اور اسے فتح کا تاج دیا گیا ہے۔ یہ دھوکے پر مبنی امن، دنیا پر غلبہ پانے کی انسانی خواہش یا دجالی قوتوں کے عروج کو ظاہر کرتا ہے۔

Revelation 6:3

Verse: And when he had opened the second seal I heard the second beast say Come and see

Revelation 6:4

Verse: And there went out another horse that was red and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth and that they should kill one another and there was given unto him a great sword

  • English Explanation: The second horseman rides a red horse, symbolizing bloodshed and warfare. The deceptive peace of the first seal is shattered as global conflicts, civil unrest, and violent warfare break out, represented by the “great sword.”

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): دوسرا سوار ایک سرخ گھوڑے پر نکلتا ہے، جو خون خرابے اور جنگ کی علامت ہے۔ پہلی مہر کا فرضی امن ختم ہو جاتا ہے اور زمین پر عالمی جنگیں اور خانہ جنگی شروع ہو جاتی ہے، جس کی علامت “بڑی تلوار” ہے۔

Revelation 6:5

Verse: And when he had opened the third seal I heard the third beast say Come and see And I beheld and lo a black horse and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand

Revelation 6:6

Verse: And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say A measure of wheat for a penny and three measures of barley for a penny and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine

  • English Explanation: A voice details inflation: a single day’s wage (a penny/denarius) will buy only enough wheat for one person, or cheaper barley for three. This highlights extreme economic hardship for the working class, while the luxury items (“oil and wine”) remain untouched, showing an disparity between the rich and the poor.

Revelation 6:7

Verse: And when he had opened the fourth seal I heard the voice of the fourth beast say Come and see

  • English Explanation: The breaking of the fourth seal introduces the final rider of the initial quartet, commanded forward by the fourth living creature.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): چوتھی مہر کھلنے پر آخری سوار سامنے آتا ہے، جسے چوتھا جاندار آگے بڑھنے کا حکم دیتا ہے۔

Revelation 6:8

Verse: And I looked and behold a pale horse and his name that sat on him was Death and Hell followed with him And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth to kill with sword and with hunger and with death and with the beasts of the earth

  • English Explanation: The pale horse (representing the sickly color of corpses) arrives. Its rider is explicitly named Death, accompanied by Hell (Hades) to gather the souls. Together, they are given authority to devastate a quarter of the globe through a deadly combination of war, famine, plagues, and wild animals.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): ایک زرد (پیلے) رنگ کا گھوڑا ظاہر ہوتا ہے جو لاشوں کی رنگت کی مانند ہے۔ اس کے سوار کا نام موت ہے، اور پاتال اس کے پیچھے پیچھے ہے۔ انہیں زمین کے ایک چوتھائی حصے پر تلوار (جنگ)، قحط، وبائی امراض اور زمین کے درندوں کے ذریعے ہلاکت پھیلانے کا اختیار دیا جاتا ہے۔

Revelation 6:9

Verse: And when he had opened the fifth seal I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held

  • English Explanation: The focus shifts from earthly disasters to heavenly justice. The fifth seal reveals the souls of Christian martyrs resting under the heavenly altar. They were killed specifically because of their unyielding dedication to the Word of God and their faithful testimony.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): اب توجہ زمین کی آفتوں سے ہٹ کر آسمانی انصاف پر چلی جاتی ہے۔ پانچویں مہر ان شہیدوں کی روحوں کو قربان گاہ کے نیچے دکھاتی ہے جنہیں خدا کے کلام اور ان کی گواہی کی وجہ سے قتل کیا گیا تھا۔

Revelation 6:10

Verse: And they cried with a loud voice saying How long O Lord holy and true dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth

  • English Explanation: The martyrs call out not for personal revenge, but for the vindication of God’s holiness and justice. They ask how long God will allow evil to persist on earth before executing ultimate divine justice upon the persecutors.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): یہ شہید ذاتی بدلے کے لیے نہیں بلکہ خدا کے پاکیزہ انصاف اور تقدس کی بالادستی کے لیے پکارتے ہیں۔ وہ پوچھتے ہیں کہ اے پاک اور سچے مالک! تو کب تک زمین کے رہنے والوں سے ہمارے خون کا انصاف نہیں کرے گا؟

Revelation 6:11

Verse: And white robes were given unto every one of them and it was said unto them that they should rest yet for a little season until their fellowservants also and their brethren that should be killed as they were should be fulfilled

They are instructed to rest patiently for a short time until the designated number of their fellow believers, who are destined to face similar martyrdom, is completed. God has a precise timeline for history.

  • Urdu Explanation (تفصیل): ہر ایک شہید کو سفید لباس دیا جاتا ہے جو ان کی پاکیزگی، فتح اور راستبازی کی علامت ہے۔ ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ وہ تھوڑی دیر اور آرام کریں جب تک کہ ان کے باقی بھائیوں اور ہم خدمتوں کی تعداد پوری نہ ہو جائے جو ان کی طرح ہی شہید ہونے والے ہیں۔ یہ ظاہر کرتا ہے کہ خدا کا اپنا ایک مقررہ وقت ہے۔
