Until this point, the world was covered by water. By His command alone, God gathered the waters into designated places so that dry land appeared. This demonstrates God’s absolute authority over nature. Nothing happened through chance or struggle; creation responded immediately to the voice of its Creator.

When the dry land emerged, God named it “Earth,” while the gathered waters were called “Seas.” In Scripture, naming something signifies authority, ownership, and purpose. God established clear boundaries between land and sea, creating order where there had previously been an unformed world. This order reflects God’s wisdom and intentional design.

After preparing the land, God commanded the earth to produce vegetation. Three main categories are mentioned: grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit according to their own kinds. پیدائش 1:9–13 تخلیق کے تیسرے دن کے واقعات بیان کرتی ہے۔ اس دن اللہ تعالیٰ نے زمین کو ایسی حالت میں تیار کیا جہاں مستقبل میں زندگی ممکن ہو سکے۔ ابتدا میں پوری زمین پانی سے ڈھکی ہوئی تھی، لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ نے صرف اپنے حکم سے پانی کو ایک جگہ جمع ہونے کا حکم دیا اور خشک زمین ظاہر ہوگئی۔ یہ واقعہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی کامل قدرت اور حاکمیت کو ظاہر کرتا ہے۔ کائنات کا ہر حصہ اُس کے حکم کے تابع ہے، اور اُس کے فرمان کے سامنے کسی قسم کی مزاحمت نہیں ہوتی۔

یہ آیات اللہ تعالیٰ کی فراہمی (Provision) کو بھی نمایاں کرتی ہیں۔ انسان اور جانوروں کی تخلیق سے پہلے ہی اُن کی خوراک کا انتظام کردیا گیا۔ گھاس جانوروں کے لیے، جبکہ جڑی بوٹیاں اور پھل انسانوں کے لیے مہیا کیے گئے۔ اس سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی مخلوق کی ضروریات پہلے سے جانتا ہے اور اُن کے لیے مناسب انتظام کرتا ہے۔

جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنی تخلیق کو دیکھا تو فرمایا کہ “یہ اچھا ہے۔” اس کا مطلب صرف ظاہری خوبصورتی نہیں بلکہ یہ ہے کہ تخلیق اپنے مقصد کے مطابق مکمل، مفید، متوازن اور بہترین تھی۔ ہر چیز اپنی جگہ درست تھی اور پوری تخلیق میں ایک حیرت انگیز ہم آہنگی موجود تھی۔

بیج کا ذکر ہمیں ایمان اور اعمال کے اصول کی بھی یاد دلاتا ہے۔ ایک چھوٹا سا بیج مستقبل میں ایک بڑے درخت میں تبدیل ہوسکتا ہے۔ اسی طرح نیکی، ایمان، دعا، محبت اور فرمانبرداری کے چھوٹے اعمال بھی وقت کے ساتھ بڑے اور دیرپا نتائج پیدا کرسکتے ہیں۔

یہ آیات انسان کو ماحول کی حفاظت اور زمین کی ذمہ دارانہ دیکھ بھال کی تعلیم بھی دیتی ہیں۔ چونکہ زمین اللہ تعالیٰ کی تخلیق ہے، اس لیے انسان کو اس کا اچھا نگہبان بننا چاہیے۔ قدرتی وسائل کا درست استعمال، درختوں کی حفاظت، ماحول کو صاف رکھنا اور زمین کی قدر کرنا ایماندارانہ ذمہ داریوں میں شامل ہے۔
