Genesis 2:5 Explanation (English)
Genesis 2:5 is a significant verse in the creation account because it describes the condition of the earth before God completed His work of preparing the world for human life. This verse appears in the second chapter of Genesis, where the focus shifts from the broad creation of the universe to the formation of the Garden of Eden and the creation of humanity.
The verse explains that the plants of the field and herbs of the field had not yet grown because certain conditions necessary for their growth were not yet present. The Bible gives two reasons: there was no rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground.
This does not mean that God lacked power to create plants instantly. Instead, it highlights God’s orderly process of creation. God created everything according to His divine wisdom and timing. بارش کا ذکر بھی بہت معنی رکھتا ہے۔ پانی زندگی کے لیے بنیادی ضرورت ہے۔ پیدائش 2:6 میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ زمین کو ایک بھاپ یا دھند کے ذریعے سیراب کیا جاتا تھا۔ اس سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ خدا اپنی مخلوق کی ضروریات کا خیال رکھتا تھا، چاہے حالات موجودہ زمانے جیسے نہ ہوں۔

یہ آیت خدا کی عطا اور انسان کی ذمہ داری کے درمیان تعلق کو بیان کرتی ہے۔ خدا وسائل مہیا کرتا ہے، لیکن انسان کو حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ وہ انہیں دانشمندی سے استعمال کرے۔ زمین خدا کی نعمت ہے اور انسان اس کا نگہبان ہے۔

محنت اور دیکھ بھال انسانی فریضہ ہے۔ - خدا اپنی مخلوق کی ضروریات پوری کرتا ہے۔
پانی، زمین اور زندگی کے تمام وسائل اسی کے انتظام کا حصہ ہیں۔ - خدا کی تاخیر بھی حکمت رکھتی ہے۔
بعض اوقات تیاری کا مرحلہ بھی خدا کے منصوبے کا حصہ ہوتا ہے۔
